Honor 'Voice Wake Up' feature

Nowadays of course, nearly everyone with a Smartphone is familiar with Siri, Cortana and Google Now as a natural way to search the web, send messages with voice control.

Siri was originally conceived as an artificially intelligent “do engine” that would allow people to hold a conversation with the Internet, pulling in relevant information from multiple sources to anticipate what you wanted before you even wanted it.  In the Microsoft camp, Cortana tried to do the same thing. Google Now is the solution available in most of the android devices to assist the user.

Smartphone voice assistant can be used for many of the functions on the device like

Despite the best marketing efforts by Google, Apple and Microsoft, many people simply never use their respective digital assistants on their Smartphone’s because of these functions required connecting to cloud to analyze and get the requested information. Smartphone user is limiting their usage on Voice assistant to very simple function like making call, find the device when it is misplaced.

As our common habit we always forgot where we left our phone, we try to spend lot of time in find our device in house and offices. Honor can optimize their voice assistant to provide best result for the most used usage “Device wake-up.

Here is the Honor 'Voice Wake Up' feature, which enables you to find a misplaced Honor 7 with voice command.  

Few simple steps to configuring “Voice Wakeup” to find your misplace Honor device within seconds  

1.    Enable “voice wakeup” from settings

2.    Select a wake up Key (Example “Dear Honor” )  

3.    Select the language

You are ready to go with voice wakeup feature to find your Honor.

 Honor “Voice wake up” can be configured  with custom Wakeup Keyword instead of “Dear Honor”.  

Custom wakeup keyword screen in settings, will guide the user to define required wakeup keyword.  

When you choose new keyword for “Voice Wakeup”, you need to train your honor with your voice. Hold the Honor as shown and speak out the command for three times as guided onscreen.  

This nice feature implemented by Honor could be use to find out your mobile or could be used to place the call.

·         ”Dear Honor where you are?”  :  When you speak out this “Dear Honor Where are you” , Honor will responds to you with beautiful voice  saying you  “I am here”

The device flash light will start blinking to enable user to find the device easily when is misplace in hidden place like under the sofa, chair or bed

This Amazing feature works even if your device is connected to headset; the response voice will be placed in device speaker even during the device is connected to headset.

·         ” Dear Honor” “Call James?”  : Voice command will wakeups the device and initiate the call to “james” immediately
