Honor 7 Integrated Application [Contact / Call Log / Messaging]

Did you feel uncomfortable when you wanted to view your message when you are in Call Log Application or in Contacts Application?

Honor 7 has a very cool and interesting feature that integrates Contacts, Messaging & Call Log.

User can open any of the three apps [Contacts, messaging or Call Log] where he can move between these three applications without closing the apps. This Ensures better Usability for Users, whereby reducing the user interactions to switch between Contacts, Messaging and Call Log.

Apart from this cool Integration of Apps in Honor 7, there are loads of additional Features in Contact, Messaging and Call Log which are not available in Nexus 5X, that are very user friendly, and also provides better User Interface to use these applications.

Sorted Timestamp in Call Log View

Honor 7 Provides a Dialer and Messaging application View that shows the Time stamp for all the list of Messages or Call Log entries in the Application. In Nexus 5X, one has to go into the call Details to view the Timestamp. Honor 7 eases user interaction by providing Sorted Timestamp Details in the Application viewed. 

Call/Contact Details:

Honor 7 provides many user friendly features when Call Details is viewed for any Contact in Call Log entry. It provides features like Send Message, Share Contact, Favorites, and Add to Blacklist, Edit Contact, Change Ringtone and Shortcut creation for the call log entry. Whereas Nexus 5S only provides features like edit contact, Send Message. 

Privacy Protection:

If there is any Private information that you don’t want others to view, Honor 7 provides a feature called Privacy protection allows user to Set Private Data for Contacts, Albums & Application. Set two passwords, one for self, and the other for Visitor. If the device is unlocked with visitor Password, all private information will be hidden.

Harassment Filter

Annoyed by Unwanted calls or Spam SMS? Honor 7 has a solution for that as well called as Harassment Filter. This feature allows user to Blacklist all the unwanted numbers from calls and messages. It also provides users with Whitelist options for calls and sms control. It also provides a Interception rules and Interception Notification reminder when a Harassment call or Spam message is received.

Smart Search:

Do you have more than 1000+ Contacts in your device and you are finding it difficult to search and view a contact?

Honor 7 has a special feature called Smart Search which helps user to traverse the Contacts just by dragging through the Alphabet list in the contacts applications. By this way searching a contact is faster and easier.

Merge Duplicate Contacts:

Are you finding many Duplicate contacts in your contact list and find it difficult to delete all the duplicate contacts?

Honor 7 provides a feature called as Merge Duplicate contacts that merges the contacts with the same Name. Just open Contact settings and click on merge Duplicate contacts inside. The feature will display all the duplicate contacts. Just select merge and your Duplicate contacts are removed from your contact list. Nexus 5X doesn’t support merge of Duplicate contacts.

Online Contact Search:

Have you kept your Business Contacts in your Exchange Account, and you wanted to retrieve that contact without opening your Exchange Email Account?

Honor 7 provides an Option to search for any contact that is saved in your Exchange Account. Just Enable the Option for Online Contact Search in the Contacts setting Menu and you can search your contacts easily.
